Sons & Daughters of Thunder is gaining momentum, anticipation and awareness throughout the country as filming continues on the new docudrama by award-winning filmmakers Kelly and Tammy Rundle of Fourth Wall Films.
A new fundraising campaign for the movie has been launched at http://www.indiegogo.com/projects/sons-daughters-of-thunder.
"With sixty-five percent of filming on the docudrama completed, this online effort will help us raise a portion of the capstone funds needed to complete the production phase of the project," said Producer Tammy Rundle.
"We have assembled an array of perks and rewards to encourage active participation in the film project," said Director Kelly Rundle. "From Executive Producer status to signed postcards, posters, DVDs and theater tickets, there is a contribution level and perks for everyone interested in being a part of the Thunder movie project."
The production has set a goal to raise $5,000 by mid-April.
Sons & Daughters of Thunder is based on the true story of Harriet Beecher Stowe's awakening during the first public discussions of the abolition of slavery in America, this compelling Cincinnati, Ohio story will be told in this dramatic new film starring actors from the Midwest, Chicago and Los Angeles. The screenplay for Sons & Daughters of Thunder is based on the critically-acclaimed play by Earlene Hawley and Curtis Heeter.
Filming for Sons & Daughters of Thunder has taken place at beautiful historic sites like the Harriet Beecher Stowe House in Cincinnati, Ohio (the only remaining structure on Lane Seminary grounds where the story originally took place), the Dillon Home Museum in Sterling, Illinois, the Jenny Lind Chapel in Andover, Illinois, Karpeles Manuscript Museum and Augustana College's House on the Hill in Rock Island, Illinois.
