The Classic Film Society has unveiled its 13th Season of the "Classics". Monthly screenings will screen at Marycrest Senior Campus, 1607 W. 12th St., Davenport, Iowa inthe Upham Hall Auditorium, on Saturdays at 6:30 p.m. There is no admission fee. The Society does accept donations of $3/per film or $10 for the entire season.
The Season kicks off on May 19 at 6:30 p.m. with "Topper" (1937) a classic favorite starring Cary Grant and Constance Bennett.
Saturday, June 16 features a classic western with a twist, "Westward the Women" (1951) starring Robert Taylor and Denise Darcel.
"It Started with Eve" stars Deanna Durbin and Bob Cummings.
Saturday, July 14 "It Started with Eve" (1941) starring Deanna Durbin and Bob Cummings will screen.
Saturday, August 11 features "Topaze" (1933) starring John Barrymore and Myrna Loy.
Saturday, September 8 "Mr. Blandings Builds His Dream House" (1948) starring Cary Grant and Myrna Loy.
The Marycrest Upham Hall Auditorium features 200 cushioned seats and video projection.
