The Winter Stories Festival at Effigy Mounds National Monument with Ioway artist, activist and musician Reuben Ironhorse-Kent has been cancelled.
From the Effigy Mounds website: "In line with similar sized events in our local communities, Effigy Mounds National Monument is indefinitely postponing all events in our Winter Stories festival. This includes this weekend's presentation by Reuben Iron-Horse Kent, "Ioway Images Then and Now" scheduled for Saturday and Sunday, at 1:00pm.
The Visitor Center and hiking trails remain open. The Visitor Center is open from 9-4. Hiking trails are open from dawn to dusk. Please direct all questions to the Visitor Center at 563-873-3491."
