The poster art for "Lost Nation: The Ioway" is complete and will soon be printed! Copies are now available for sale and will be shipped within the next two weeks.
These 18" x 24" posters feature Ioway leaders Great Walker (left) and White Cloud as painted by Charles Bird King. Both wanted their people to survive the great changes that were coming upon them, but they disagreed on how best to achieve that goal.
The posters are $8.00 each including shipping. Write to us at IowayFilm@aol.com if you want to order more than one. We will combine shipping. Proceeds will assist in the completion of the documentary and in costs related to the creation of the DVD version of the film.

Nice job on this art work! I imagine it was very difficult to put it together. Keep up your work!

Agreed, the artwork is very nice...the title of this movie still irks me though

There was a very detailed discussion about the title within the Ioways Online Yahoo Group when we first announced it. The phrase "Lost Nation" means different things to different people. Certainly we know the Ioway people are not "lost". I think most with concerns about the title will feel differently once they see the finished film. We think it effectively communicates themes explored in the documentary, and that it is intriguing enough to draw people to our showings. We think it's the right title for our film, but we respect the opinion of those who think we should have chosen a different one.
