The Jean Seberg International Film Festival is rolling out the red carpet, pointing the searchlight to the heavens, and opening the IVCC Orpheum Theater Center doors to premiere party guests on Friday evening, November 15 at 6:30 p.m. in Jean Seberg's hometown of Marshalltown, Iowa.
The premiere party will feature a special concert by popular musicians Amy and Mark Adams-Westin of Amy & Adams, hors d'oeuvres and champagne in the Black Box Theater.
At 8:00 p.m. the world premiere of Emmy® nominated documentary filmmakers Kelly & Tammy Rundle and Garry McGee's Movie Star: The Secret Lives of Jean Seberg will take place in the main theater. The filmmakers will take part in Q&A following the film presentation.
Movie Star: The Secret Lives of Jean Seberg is the first documentary film to focus on the private side of the famous Marshalltown, Iowa native. Movie Star will also examine Seberg's very public American and international film career, civil rights era activism, and her mysterious untimely death in Paris. The film features exclusive on-camera interviews with Jean's family, friends and colleagues, as well as never-before-seen private photographs, home movie footage and rare movie and behind-the-scenes film clips. Emmy® nominated documentary filmmakers Kelly and Tammy Rundle and Garry McGee are pleased to bring actress, activist and icon Jean Seberg's unique and compelling story to the screen.

Kelly & Tammy Rundle of Fourth Wall Films previously produced the Emmy-nominated Country School: One Room - One Nation, and the award-winning documentaries Lost Nation: The Ioway 1, 2 & 3 and Villisca: Living with a Mystery.
They partnered with Garry McGee (McMarr, Ltd.) to produce Movie Star: The Secret Lives of Jean Seberg. McGee is the Emmy® nominated writer of the documentary The Last Wright and the author of Jean Seberg: Breathless, The Films of Jean Seberg with Michael Coates-Smith, and Neutralized: The FBI vs Jean Seberg with Jean Russell Larson.
