I'm sure this mid-century modern home has been sold by now, but I enjoyed reviewing the photos. It was designed by architect Jack Viks, a student of Ludwig Mies Van Der Rohe, and it's located in Lake Forrest, Illinois (north of Chicago). The $2.6 millipn price tag included a 1000 square foot guest house. Apparently this is the architect's own house.

I was and intrigued by some of the views of this Montreal loft apartment. They are working with some interesting and affordable ideas.
