My wife picked up this cool blue-green (with little speckles) mid-century modern casserole dish at our local antique mall for $12.
It looks great in our pristine, but out-dated (a 1978 remodel), kitchen in our 1957 house.
Sometime I'm going to post a before and after shot of the 70s era counter chairs that came with the house. I dubbed them "Pirates of the Caribbean" chairs. : )
I've been admiring these mid-century modern (early 40s) West Bend chrome penguin ice buckets/warmers from afar for some time. They always seem to be in poor shape or too pricey for my poor wallet.
This one is in great shape and features really cool bakelite handles. It was in a local antique mall in a booth marked "50% off everything."
