John Palmquist spotted this one while setting up a tipi for the showings of "Lost Nation: The Ioway" on Sunday, November 18, 2007.
The 2:00 pm show was sold out and a second impromptu show at 4:00 pm was two-thirds full. Both audiences were excellent and we had enlightening post-screening discussions.
Seven or eight Ioway tribal members attended the showings and Iowa Tribe of Kansas and Nebraska members Mary Lou Harvey and Rita McClure helped us respond to audience questions in the first show's Q & A. Thank you, ladies!
Emily Keston from the Council Bluffs Nonpareil interviewed us just before the showing and wrote this article. We appreciate her interest in the Ioway people and our documentary.
