The Iowa Tribe of Kansas and Nebraska's Annual Chief White Cloud Rodeo opens Friday, June 28th, 2013 celebrating its 26th anniversary. The annual event draws visitors from all over the country to take part in exciting rodeo entertainment, family fun, food and celebration.
The rodeo features bronc riding, bareback riding, steer wrestling, calf roping, bull riding, girl's barrel racing and Muttin Bustin. Cash prizes will be awarded during the competitions.
The Grand River Rodeo Company will perform this year at the Iowa Tribal Rodeo Grounds. The Rodeo continues through Saturday, June 29th. Grand entry is 7:30 p.m.
Tickets are available at the gate: $9/adults and $4/children under 12.
Competition entry fees: Saddle Bronc, Bareback riding, bull riding $51/each; Calf Roping, Over 40 Calf roping, Break Away, Steer Wrestling $71/each; Barrel Racing $65; Team Roping $66.
