Documentary Film Featuring Iowa's Native American Past to Screen in Washington, Iowa
The award-winning historical documentary Lost Nation: The Ioway will screen on Tuesday, August 4, 2009 at 7:00 pm at the Washington County Community Center. The film tells the story of Iowa's early Native American inhabitants, the Ioway Tribe, and their impact and influence in the past and present.

The program is jointly sponsored by the Washington County Genealogical Society and the Washington County Historical Society and features an appearance by filmmakers Kelly and Tammy Rundle and State Archaeologist John Doershuk.
A discussion and Q & A with the Rundles and Doershuk will follow the film.
