Don't miss the last Mercado on Fifth in Moline for the season Friday, October 19th beginning at 5pm celebrating Dia de los Muertos.
Attendees are encouraged to bring a photo of a loved one who has passed away for the Communal Altar.
Activities include a Trunk or Treat for kids, a costume parade down 5th Avenue at 8:00 p.m., vendors, cultural tradtions and food. The event is family friendly and open to the public!
As noted on its website: "Mercado on Fifth's purpose is to promote small businesses, community pride and summer learning in the Floreciente neighborhood of Moline. We host weekly family friendly events, open to the public, that bring neighbors together and create a sense of place for the community."
